Driven by their true desire to leave a legacy in terms of youth public policies, this 2018 the Youth 20 (Y20) is not only focused on the creation of an impactful policy recommendation paper that will contain the collective views of youth and will be handed to the G20 presidential Summit in November, but also is working towards making their 2018 Summit a turning point in the history of Y2O. In line with their slogan “Shaking the Present, Building the Future”, for the first time since its creation, the selected delegates will also be working to craft +10 projects that will constitute the cornerstone for the “Social Innovation Warehouse” (SIW), an international online repository that contains scalable and replicable projects and will serve as input for governments and organisations that want to implement youth public policies worldwide
The first aim of the SIW is to be a space for young people around the world to showcase the projects they are developing to transform their community. And the second aim is that this projects become input for other young people, organisations and public sector representatives to develop and replicate projects inspired on young people's solutions.
The SIW is one of the outputs of the Youth20 2018 Summit. Projects have been appointed by different partners and uploaded by the young delegates during the summit. The platform has been developed by volunteers coordinated by the Youth20 2018 Chair organization, Eidos Global.
